In order to register for Iceland Volcano Marathon, all international runners must sign up for the tour package.

The map below displays several relevant locations in Iceland. Reykjavík, in the southwest, is the capital and the city where we will begin and end our journeys. Akureyri is known as the Capital of the North, and is the gateway to the Lake Mývatn region. Participants can choose among accommodation in Mývatn itself, or Húsavík, up on the coast of the island, or Laugar, a rural community roughly halfway between the two.
